Amarela is a few minutes walk from Quinta de la Rosa and about five minutes from the river Douro. Pinhao village 2km with local shops, restaurants and bars, more shops in Vila Real or Alijo, about 30 mins drive

Accommodation: large sitting room, dining room, five double bedrooms each with own bathroom or shower room, and fully equipped kitchen. Private pool (8x4m) in courtyard, barbeque on nearby terrace. Lovely views from all parts and vine covered patios provide shady sitting areas. Fishing and canoeing possible from the jetty on the river below

Linen (except beach/pool towels) provided. Maid service weekly and weekly linen change. Arrive Friday 1600, depart 1000. Minimum booking 7 nights July-September, 5 nights by arrangement otherwise
